Poured a black body with minimal head and no lace. Has a basic aroma of minimal sweet malts with touch of smokiness. Fuller bodied, heavy going down, hints of sweetness and roasted malts but basically all I get is a dry, smoky taste. This beer is a good idea but just not well balanced/executed as the smoke just overpowers everything else but it's muddled, not clear/precise like a rauchbier/smoked beer, and is just not enjoyable.
