Poured a black body with minimal head and lace. Aroma has a strong peanut butter aroma with mild roasted malts and oats in there as well. Dry, roasted malts are in background and oatmeal stout factor of smoothness is there as this medium to heavy bodied beer goes down easy. Dominant flavor is peanut butter and not as outstanding as a certain peanut butter porter (cough-DuClaw-cough) but it stands out and is quite tasty (side note: I grew up on peanut butter sandwiches and peanut butter cups by Reese's for lunch when in elementary school so I love (me some - if you're from the south) peanut butter). Beer is a tad clunky but if you appreciate the peanut butter aspect, or just find it tasty as I do, then you'll enjoy this beer.
