Roasted malt, caramel, and barley provide a power body which hit’s upfront. From there, 62 IBUS of piney hops provide a refined bittering finish. Overall a complex texture with various notes of coffee, chocolate, caramel, pine and citrus makes this a one of a kind beer!

I never pass up a black IPA when i have the opportunity. Black appearance (obviously) with a tan foamy head, ok retention, very little lacing. Cocoa, molasses, some fig, some coffee, hoppy. Medium body and carbonation. Very nice.

Had on tap.
Wonderful black body and thick tan head. Looks like a porter.
Smells both chocolatey and citrusy. Mild sweetness and a burnt coffee aroma but they take the backseat the the other scents.
Tastes like it smells. Smooth bitterness and a good balance between hops and malt. Reminds me of DH Indian Brown. Great stuff. Not overpowering but super delicious.
Excellent body. Creamy, medium carbonation and a full mouthfeel.
Highly recommend.
