Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass.
Bold topped three finger off white head, quite a bit of swiss cheese bubbles , with clumpy touches of big lacing. Light copper body, slightly opaque with hued edges of light yellow. Real nice looking pale ale. Amber? Could be?
Aroma is a bit closed but fairly nice with some exploring. Mild touches of light pine, and a faint hint of citrus. Mellow caramel and a simple malt body seem to round things out nicely.
Palate actually has much more delicious pleasures. Mid palate hits with light caramel, but then comes into some real nice soft tea like qualities. Touch of sweet caramel, the slightest hint of taffy without large sugar, but with a good brown sugar flavor. Aftertaste has herbal tea written all over, with copious amounts of soft earth and a touch faint fruit that seems somewhere between marmalade and dark orange.
Real nice enjoyable pale ale, almost has that sweet tea like quality without the huge sugar rush.
