No bottle date, but I got it around 2 years ago with the plan to split it with my ex on our dog's 5th Gotcha Day, because the dog on the label looked like him. We split and she got the dog, so I might as well drink it.
Pours a clear mahogany with a thin khaki head, not much in the way of retention, just a thin ring around the edges, little streaks of lacing.
Smells of bourbon, vanilla, stewed fruit, toffee.
On the palate, more of the same, enough bitterness on finish to keep it from being cloying. Alcohol is warming, but not hot.
Pretty heavily-bodied, chewy, could use just a hair more carbonation.
Decent enough offering from a no-name brewery.
