Copenhagen 2/3 2023. 33 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Mouths oozing black stuff containing the name and details about the beer.
Pours unclear amber with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a 4 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a sharp edge of alcohol. Subtle citric notes. Caramel, toffee and metallic alcohol. Hints of lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a harsh bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and boozy.
More a harsh boozy pale lager than a DIPA.
