United Dutch Breweries “X-Mark Cannabis Beer”
500 ml can coded “Best Before P. 16/05/2023 05:35 E. 16/11/2024 3” and sampled on 22/11/2023
€5 @ BULLMANAGEMENT, Madrid, ES
Notes: Brewed with water, malted barley, corn, natural flavors, and hop extract.
Look: A clear golden body with a little bit of a pink sheen rests beneath a short head of white foam that drops shortly but leaves some thin and spotty lacing.
Smell: Lightly sweetish golden malt with a touch of herbal character.
Taste: Gently sweetish malt is infused with notes of lemon, cinnamon, and dried herbs (sage, marjoram, thyme). A stiff bitterness balances it and it finishes dry and herbal.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp.
Overall: Apart from the beers that I’ve had that were made with actual cannabis this is one of the better tasting ones. The base beer is fine for what it is, and it’s nicely balanced.
