Spinnaker Bay Brewing

I visited Spinnaker Bay for the first time the other night. I like it -- it has a very older-school craft brewery feeling with a big old wooden bar, exposed brick and rafters and a general malt aroma filling the place. It appears to be frequented by a lot of locals so there's also a good pub vibe going on. I sat at the bar, and the service was prompt and friendly.

They had about 10 beers on offer, and the two I tried were both pretty good (the Black High Heel, especially). They didn't have a lot of unusual stuff on the board, mostly fairly straightforward styles, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Worth checking out if you're in Columbia City.
