Smallish head which eventually leaves zero lace. The color is light brown and clear.
Strong deeply toasted bread aroma.
Rich body and flavor. Definitely darker malts but it isn't quite chocolatey or burnt toast. The hop is initially hard to detect but as the tasting continues, if becomes more and more present. The finish still leans malty and the aftertaste lingers longer than it should.
