Oma's Pruim

Oma's Pruim....that Grandma's prune in english. I don't know if it has the same semantics, but in dutch, it's doesn't sound very classy....Dark brown amber with a modest head of foam. Smell of dark malt, hops and, indeed, some prunes. Taste profile could have been more outspoken, but it's quite balanced, especially when you consider that actual prunes have been used in the process. A pleasantly sweet malty profile, with flavours of caramel and dark fruit. The hops could have been a bit stronger though: the finish is quite modest. Medium bodied and quite smooth.
