Poured from an 11.2 oz bottle into a pint glass.. My first beer from the country of Jordan. The appearance is a mixed bag - the clear copper color is beautiful but there is absolutely no head or lacing and minimal carbonation. A quick sniff and taste re-affirmed that this beer was not stale or flat. A good aroma of fruit, yeast and general sourness brought this beer up in my estimation. The flavor didn't disappoint either. The listed fruit were blood orange and pomegranate - very strong and tasty fruit presence - not overly sweet. The sourness and tartness were just right for a Berliner-Weiss. Some beers of this style have an artificial, syrupy fruit taste - like canned peach juice. Red Sea-rious balances out natural fruit flavors and sourness/tartness very well. Mouthfeel is light and tart/sour. A good take on this style!!!!

A: The beer is crystal clear dark golden yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with just a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of blood oranges are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste is mostly fruity and has flavors of blood oranges along with notes of pomegranates. There is only a slight bit of sourness.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the fruity aromas and flavors in this Berliner Weisse.
