This light, well-balanced amber ale has a modest hop flavour and is a malt forward ale of the highest quality. This brew’s name goes way back. Old Stock Ale in England used to be priced according to the quality and strength, so a few cents would get you a cheap ale...but a Ten Penny would get you the highest quality. Ten Penny Stock Ale was first brewed in 1934 and is a Moosehead classic.

Nice stock bitter ale.
Slightly hazy reddish amber beer with 2-finger beige head, good retention. Caramel malts in the nose and in the taste. Mild, slightly round with soft to medium carbonation.

Clear amber with a great head. Very mild malt nose. Very mild malt with a little dryness. Light-medium feel. Overall, inoffensive but not notable.
