This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a hazy pale orange color with a one and a half finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Light lacing speckles the sides and slides into the beer. The smell starts off with some citrus running into some caramel malts nicely. The flavor was moderately sweet with an ample amount of bitterness combining and tasting nice. There’s a little bit of citrus aftertaste. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a little bit of carbonation hitting just right. Good bitterness to lead the harsh side of things. Overall, I was expecting it to be one of those "rolling rock" type beers (I see XPA and think that), however, after a little bit of warming, it’s definitely a pretty good APA, better than I expected.

Maybe they've modified their process because the 9/22 canned date are fine. Nice color and tropical aroma that had taste to match. While I wouldn't exactly call it the next Captains Daughter this beer is very good i.e. It Met my expectations....

A - Huge flakes for floaties. This is a beer made for drinking straight from the can. (a face for radio)
S - Pine resin, light caramel.
T - Light sweetness, interrupted by pine resin bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet.
M - Medium body, medium carb, Dries the palate.
O - A pretty good IPA. Worth trying out, but don't expect too much. Don't worry about the appearance it doesn't affect the taste.

This was pretty atrocious. It smelled like a cheap american adjunct lager at times. The hop combo taste was really disjointed. There wasn't anything extreme about this beer. The price is outrageous ($10.49/ 4 pack in MA) considering it isn't a good product.

"Extreme" Pale Ale,beckons the unwary buyer to take the plunge to be shark bitten, don't be fooled ,this is an imposter with yeast chunks floating around in the pour,a massive turn off for all but the most hardcore beer drinker. It's piney but it's not extreme with little aroma and plenty of hop bite but it comes up short on the appeal. Canned by Rockart, makes me wonder if it's another attempt at over the top hopping. I won't pay for it again.

Pours a cloudy dark gold color with a decent head into my glass. Head fades into lacing.
Fresh cut grass on the nose. Bread-y malt profile underneath all that.
Nice and bitter. Pine resin comes to mind hop-wise. Similar to SN Torpedo in my opinion.
Finishes with a crisp bitterness. Clean profile thanks to the amazing water.
A fresh, quenchable XPA for a hot summer day.
