Thanks again to gopens44 for another delectable beer from Va.
Pours a light amber, almost clear, billowy, three finger, pure white head. The foam falls back and leaves some luscious lace behind.
Med. strength aroma, neutral sweet and grapefruit, hints of pine and herbal, some crisp grain holding it together.
Wow, full flavor that starts off with a slap of pine and a kick of herbal and bitter pith. Sweet citrus tries to hold its own, but this baby likes it West Coast style and is all about the clean bitter flavor assault. Delicious, clean, simple, yummy.
It actually is light/med. body and viscosity, surprisingly so considering the amount of flavor and hop resin, med. carb., excellent clean finish.
Highly recommended for the card carrying hop head in your family.

Crowler thanks to Steve. Pale golden body, capped with a small foamy head. Big hoppy aroma, citrus, but some pine too. Hops lead the taste too, nice citrusy flavors, caramelly malts and a big bitter bite at the end.

This is not a knock on this one, tasted blind against 3 other offerings from TCB and Final Gravity, I had this one rated last. Only major knock is that finish is a bit soapy

Poured into a Wicked Weed snifter from a crowler filled on 01.14.17.
A- Pours a medium amber color with a 3/4 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of sheer surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves large clots behind.
S- Bouquet is bursting with tropical fruit juiciness bringing notes of papaya, mango and guava.
T- Stone fruit plus some grassy hop character and a bitterness that strikes assertively but then immediately lets up without lingering. Very smooth for the ABV though there's a touch of booziness.
M- Somewhat sharp with medium carbonation and a lightish body
O- A truly solid DIPA but the aroma promised more than the taste delivered. Would have it again though.

Crowler shared by Darrell. Thanks man!
Hazy, dark yellow body with an inch of dense, soapy, white head. Aromas of ripe nectarine, grassy and floral hops. Light to medium sweetness. Hop forward with some nice bready character in support. A hint of spice. Medium bitterness. Nice.
