32oz. growler into a Grrrz teku. Shared with schen9303.
Pours a rich and creamy .5 finger billowy white head with moderate retention. Beer is a cloudy lemon. Lacing is spotty with excellent stick. Fantastic for the style.
Nose is citrus, yeast, lemon and a mellow, funky sweetness. Very solid.
Opens with an extreme citrus, lemon and yeasty tartness. Prickly on the tongue with a zesty bite. Foamy, dry and puckering towards the end and finishes lemon zest. Very good.
Light bodied with moderate to ample carbonation. Prickly and aggressive in the mouth and goes down tart and puckering. Finishes rather dry with a clean aftertaste. Very drinkable.
Easily one of the better berliner offerings out there. The fruited berliners from Answer are out of this world... this is just better than most ;).

Straightforward and refreshing take on a Berliner. It's tart, and lemony with a nice dry finish that keeps you coming back for another sip. It's probably slightly more tart than the fruited variations (Morning Juice), but isn't a complete acid bomb. Good stuff for sure, and seems to make a great base for fruit treatments.

Lightly refreshing and lemony. A little bit burpy on the nose, as can happen. Not the most complex berliner but easy drinking and thirst quenching

On draft at the Answer brewpub on 8/12/15. It smells fantastic and is lightly tart but very refreshing. A near perfect example of a Berliner Weiss. Extremely drinkable.
