32oz. filp-top growler into a Grrrz teku. Shared by schen9303.
Pours a creamy, .5 finger white head with moderate retention. Beer is a cloudy pale pear. Lacing is stringy and patchy with great stick. Average.
Nose is pear, kiwi, melon, passion fruit and a light, yeasty tartness. Incredibly unique. Nicely aromatic.
Opens pear, melon, citrus, passion fruit and kiwi. Yeasty in the middle with a mellow, light pucker. Some citrus towards the middle and end. More bright tartness with more melon, pear and mango in the aftertaste. Like the nose, incredibly unique and super fruit forward.
Light bodied with low carbonation. Smooth and quenching in the mouth and goes down aggressive and prickly. Finishes smooth and creamy with a dry and puckering aftertaste. Excellent.
I haven't had anything from The Answer until another BA took me here. This brewpub is the TRUTH! Everything I've had from them is waaay above average and the Morning Juice series is top notch. Pay attention because this brewery is turning out some phenomenal beer.

These fruited Berliners from the answer are the closest I've had to the wonderful J Wakefield Miami Madness. This one has mango, papaya, and pineapple I believe. It looks like juice, and it's so jam packed with fruit flavor that it isn't too far off. I'm pretty sure pulp stuck to my glass - not even joking. The tartness goes really nice with the tropical fruit treatment, but is not bracingly sour. These Berliners along with the hoppy beers should put The Answer on the map in no time.
