Poured on-tap at the brewpub and served in a tulip, the beer is a hazy, honey gold coloring, with a foamy, clingy, white head. Nose of bright grapefruit, orange, and tangerine, amazingly sweet and juicy. Flavors are just as tart and sweet forward, like biting into a ripe, juicy grapefruit. Toasted backbone, with a subtle grass and peppery hops notes. Big bodied, but dry and clean, with a tart and slightly acidic grapefruit aftertaste. Smooth, dry, lingering finish. Really solid beer.
