Pretty basic looking beer. Crystal clear golden beer with about half inch of foamy white head. Very sticky lacing hangs on a while.
The smell on this one is packed full of grapefruit and onion. Fantastically popping (????) as well.
Taste is simply terrific. Not overly bitter at the start but that grapefruit onion is there in spades with a dash of garlic. Malt kicks in a little with some sweetness, while the whole thing sails off on a fairly hot little fashion. Finish is somewhat wet with a bit of bitter on the tongue.
One of the finest I've had from The Answer!

Poured on-tap at the brewpub and served in a snifter, the beer is a hazy, yellow-gold coloring, with a foamy, clingy, white head. Nose of evergreen, spearmint, citrus and earthy highlights. Flavors are bitter and herbal forward, with grassy and woody highlights. Not overpowering hops, with a subtle citrus blend on top. Soft, smooth, light bodied, with a grassy and herbal aftertaste. Smooth, soft, light finish. Interesting take on an IPA, and pretty tasty.
