Poured on tap at the brewpub in a snifter, the beer is jet black and oily thick, with no head. Aromas of toasted coconut, milk chocolate, and hints of peppermint. Wow, just like candy. Flavors are rich and sweet forward, a perfect balance of chocolate, coconut, and subtle peppermint, with very subtle earthy and bitter chocolate notes in the background. Smooth and creamy body, chewy thick, with a candy sweet, rich aftertaste of chocolate, mint, and coconut. It's like drinking thick melted ice cream. Smooth, slow, layered finish. Great beer.
