L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick consistency. There was an inch of creamy, tan-colored, long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A decent aroma of roasted malt, peppermint, chocolate, and coffee.
T: Tasted of a moderate amount of chocolate, a lot of peppermint (the most dominant ingredient), light roasted malt notes, and some coffee as well. This is a flavor that seems to get better as it goes along. At first the peppermint seems to overpower everything else, but later it becomes much tastier and more complex.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a very dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: While this beer has some minor flaws, it's still quite easy to drink. Worth a try.
