Poured on tap at the brewpub in a snifter, the beer is jet black, with no head. Nose of roasted coffee, maple sweetness, sugary peanut butter, and cream highlights. Flavors are sweet peanut butter and chocolate forward, with a solid coffee backbone, and sugary maple highlights. Creamy smooth body, with a sugary sweet chocolate, peanut butter, and maple aftertaste. Smooth, slow finish. Great beer.
