L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a golden yellow color and a cloudy texture. There was a half inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Great lacing.

S: A nice aroma of hops, light fruit, malt, and pine.

T: Tasted of a hint of malt, a bit of citrus (lemon), lots of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple, in particular), some light pine notes, a big shot of hops (especially in the finish). This is an aggressive, fruity, enjoyable flavor. The hops content borders on excessive, but manages to be okay.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a somewhat bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

O: Mind Games is a solidly made, easy to drink DIPA. Tasty and drinkable.

Crowler filled 07/07

Hazy gold with a thick, frothy white cap that sticks to everything. Oily dank hop aromas turn to ripe tropical fruit...watermelon, pineapple, grass, pine sap, and apricot. Bright fruity hop flavor with a grassy edge. Pineapple, mango, pulpy grapefruit citrus acidity, passion fruit, herbal resins. Medium bodied, somewhat creamy, drying body...seems about right for 8%. Just a little flash of heat here and there, but otherwise drinks like a DIPA should. Ripe, tropical, tasty.

4/30/17 - Fresh from the teet in the RVA. Tap fresh into signature "2 Years and Flying High" tulip glass. Hazy straw color with white head. Nice aroma and some lacing on the glass. Nice and refreshing flavors here. I picked up two crowlers to go.
