L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a black color and a thick consistency. There was a quarter inch of creamy, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. Not much lacing, though.
S: An incredibly enticing aroma of hazelnuts, coffee, chili peppers, and maple syrup.
T: Tasted of a good shot of coffee, a lot of hazelnuts, some roasted malt notes, a hint of maple syrup, a lot of chili peppers (mostly in the finish), and a little coconut. This is one aggressive flavor, mainly due to the addition of the chili peppers. Everything is sweet and well-balanced.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: If you're a fan of chili peppers in your stout, try this one. Drinkable.
