One month old crowler. Pours black motor oil. Smell is heavy coffee. Flavor is big coffee and chocolate. I was afraid that the Scotch bonnet peppers would kill this with heavy heat, but they were very mild and you got most of it on the back end. As usual, very tasty

L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a black color and a thick texture. There was small amount of creamy, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. Very good lacing.
S: A big, enticing aroma of coffee, chocolate, chili peppers, and roasted malt.
T: Tasted of a whole bunch of rich chocolate notes, some coffee, a light vanilla tinge (mostly in the front), a good amount of roasted malt, and a heap of chili peppers in the finish. This is yet another big, flavorful, aggressive stout from The Answer. Sweet, powerful and tasty. The chili pepper gives it an interesting edge.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a super smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: An immensely enjoyable beer all around. Very much drinkable.
