Poured on tap at the brewpub.
The pour is pitch black with a half finger of mocha head. Leaves a fair bit of lacing as it dissipates.
The aroma is nutty and roasted, with notes of milk chocolate, vanilla and coconut.
The taste follows the nose. Very nutty, like almonds and pecans, with plenty of vanilla and chocolate.
The feel is medium-full with lighter carbonation. A bit sticky, but incredibly smooth and creamy. Alcohol is well hidden.
Overall, a great imperial stout that relies more on malts and roasted notes than it does on chocolate or other adjuncts. Definitely a delicious beer.

Poured a black body with minimal head and the aroma has a strong pecan aroma and hints of coconut. Slick, sweet beer that has a pecan (not pecan pie) like sweetness and the slickness is like a coconut milk flavor but then a bit of heft comes in and the beer finishes slightly dry and sticky.
