L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and an opaque consistency. There was a small amount of foamy, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. OK lacing.
S: An enticing aroma of chocolate, chili peppers, roasted malt, and coffee.
T: Tasted of a bit of roasted malt (not overly evident), a lot of chocolate, light coconut notes, coffee, a tinge of hops (in the finish), and chili peppers (also in the finish). A big, complex, aggressive and utterly lovable flavor. It has a definite sweetness to it, without being too cloying; the chili peppers offer a good counterbalance. Powerful.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: Yet another great stout from The Answer. Extremely drinkable.
