Dull black with a persistent creamy tan film and thick collar.

I get some charred oak and toasty, dark chocolate malt on the nose. At this point, Jules took a big gulp, and upon her exhale all I could smell around me was Tiramisu.

Omg yep! This is bursting at the seams with all of the flavors listed in the description. Coconut, coffee, bourbon and maple just exude dessert smorgasbord, as a hint of cinnamon-hazelnut and a fainter hint of gingerbread follow. I'm not sure if the GB is referring to gingerbread, but thank goodness it is light on that if so.

This is sweet, but somehow not too much so, with a slick, medium thin body, mild to thin carbonation, finishing semi-dry and somehow not sticky.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick consistency. There was a small amount of creamy, tan-colored head that lasted an average amount of time. Good lacing.

S: An enticing aroma of coffee, coconut, roasted malt, maple syrup, nuts, and chocolate.

T: Tasted of a tinge of chocolate, a lot of hazelnuts, a hint of bourbon barrel (not as much as expected), a good shot of maple syrup, some coconut, lots of coffee, and macadamia nuts as well. An incredibly well-balanced, focused flavor. The addition of maple and bourbon plays well with the coffee and nuts. Tasty.

F: A fair amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.

O: One of the more interesting stouts you could drink. Certainly worth a look.
