L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick consistency. There was a quarter inch off white, foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Fair lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of malt, coffee, maple syrup, and vanilla.
T: Tasted of a bit of coffee (espresso, really), some light malt notes, a hint of vanilla, lots of maple syrup, a bit of cinnamon, and a little taste of chocolate. A complex (for a brown ale) flavor with a lot of character. Not as robust as some of the Answer's other dark beers, but it has a likable subtly.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a dry, smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An extremely satisfying brown ale. Certainly drinkable.
