This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and basically no lacing.
This smells like a big fresh cup of coffee- I have a friend who absolutely hates coffee stouts, and the strong (and delicious to me) coffee aroma was too much for him- it grossed him out. It's roasty, chocolatey, and vibrant, with some additional molasses and cocoa nib aromas.
The slight lack of carbonation on the crowler marginally affects the taste. Getting past that, it's a decadent pastry delight, with an aggressive, slightly bitter, and roasty and fruity coffee flavor. There's lots of fudgy sweet milk chocolate, and a syrupy molasses/brown sugar character.
This is very thick, and slightly syrupy, with a very lowl level of carbonation.
This is about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the balls/palate- it's definitely tasty, but doesn't seem entirely carefully prepared.

Impressed with Sean's work. An imperial stout with coffee and cocoa nibs, the coffee comes through more than the mouth feel but a good viscous pour and easy finish
