L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, murky consistency. There was a thin, off white head that quickly dissipated. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: A very good aroma of maple syrup, coffee, malt, and cinnamon.
T: Tasted of a bit of malt (not overly powerful), a nice shot of cinnamon, lots of maple syrup, a light brown ale nuttiness, a bit of coffee (less than expected), and a hint of vanilla. A much sweeter flavor than you normally get with a brown ale - but it works. It's subtle and surprisingly flavorful.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Definitely one of the more interesting takes on the brown ale style. Drinkable.
