L: Had this beer at The Answer, poured into a snifter glass. had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of creamy, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. Good lacing.
S: A decent aroma of chocolate, malt, vanilla, and maple syrup.
T: Tasted of a tinge of vanilla (not too much), light malt notes (mostly in the finish), a hint of caramel, a lot of milk chocolate, a bit of maple syrup, and a spicy quality. In general, this is an interesting and oddly low key flavor. Slightly different than what I expected, but good nonetheless. Chocolate and maple syrup work well together.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a super smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: While this isn't my favorite Answer stout, it's still pretty tasty. drinkable.
