From tasting notes 11/4/18
Had on-tap at The Answer Brewpub in Richmond, VA

Appearance - Served up in a 10oz stemless, black in color with no trace of suds.

SmellĀ  - Strong aroma of chocolate and peanut butter. Lesser vanilla and marshmallow.

TasteĀ  - Oh man, indulgent chocolate and peanut butter bliss. Hint of vanilla and marshmallow. It all lingers in the aftertaste so wonderfully.

Mouthfeel - Full bodied with no noticeable carbonation. Thick, but goes down remarkably easy. I could chug this if not so savory.

Overall - Man, that strong sweetness can get a bit cloying, but hell if it stops me from wanting more. Like melted ice cream or a nutrageous candy bar. Mmmm.

On tap at The Answer.

Pours a thick jet black with a little bit of foam.

Smell is sweet and rich with peanut butter and chocolate dominating.

Taste is sweet and chocolatey with big spoon of peanut butter dunked in to it and a roasted marshmallow on top. Very rich and creamy.

Mouthfeel is thick and fudgey, slightly low carbonation.

Overall, a very decadent, dessert-like stout. Very tasty, but a whole glass would probably become cloying and overbearing.

L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown color and a thick opaque consistency. There was a thin, tan-colored, creamy head that quickly dissipated. Good lacing. Kind of looks like chocolate milk.

S: An enticing aroma of chocolate, peanut butter, malt, and vanilla.

T: Tasted of a mild amount of malt (in the finish, for the most part), a whole lot of peanut butter, an equally huge amount of chocolate, and some light marshmallow notes. An extremely rich and complex flavor. Every ingredient is well represented and works well together. Sweet and likable.

F: A fair amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.

O: This is basically dessert in a glass. Very much drinkable.
