On-tap at The Answer Brewpub, Richmond, VA
A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a light beige collar around the edge fo the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dark chocolate and espresso beans are present in the nose along with hints of vanilla.
T: The taste follows the smell but has stronger flavors of sweet milk chocolate with notes of vanilla beans and hints of espresso.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied, slick and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: When you swirl around this beer in your mouth it tastes like liquid tiramisu mousse. This makes for a nice dessert beer and isn't nearly as sweet as some of the other stouts that this brewery makes.
