L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque texture. There was a quarter inch of creamy, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. Pretty good lacing.
S: A very enticing aroma of chocolate, malt, coconut, and apples.
T: Tasted of a mild tinge of hops (barely noticeable), a good shot of coconut, a bit of the advertised apple brandy, lots of chocolate, and light malt notes. This is one of those incredibly well-balanced and focused flavors. It's super chocolatey, but not dominated by that ingredient. Very well done.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: An exceptionally enjoyable stout. Very much worth a look.
