L: Had this on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of creamy, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. Good lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of coffee, chocolate, cream, and some malt.
T: Tasted of a moderate amount of malt (present throughout), a good amount of cream (quite sweet), some chocolate notes, and a bit of coffee (not overdone, though). An interesting flavor for a porter. It's sweeter than usual and not because of the chocolate. It has a solid balance to it, giving you cream up front and chocolate in the finish.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth, creamy (of course) finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A focused and easy to like porter. Well worth your time.
