L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of chocolate, malt, marshmallows, and coffee.
T: Tasted of a bit of malt (mostly in the finish), some marshmallows, lots of chocolate (the dominant ingredient), light coffee notes, and a hint of graham crackers. An interesting flavor that gets better as it goes along. I didn't enjoy this flavor as much as its cousin Slippin' Jimmy, but it's still tasty stuff.
F: A decent bit of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A rock solid porter. Worth a try.
