Had on-tap at The Answer in Richmond, VA
Appearance - Served up in a 10oz stemless, black in color with no trace of suds.
Smell - Prominent aroma of chocolate and peanut butter. Touch of berry sweetness.
Taste - Follows the nose. Prominent notes of chocolate and peanut butter with hints of berry. Not getting much from the bourbon barrels, nor the marshmallow or vanilla.
Mouthfeel - Full bodied with low carbonation. Thick, creamy texture. Drinks easy though.
Overall - Awesome brew, but not as good as the OG Fluffer. The raspberry doesn't add much, instead getting in the way of that perfect union of chocolate and peanut butter. Or maybe its the bourbon barrel process that's killing the depth? Or both? Regardless, I'd take the Chocolate Fluffer over this every time.
