L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a jet black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, tan-colored, long-lasting head. Good lacing.
S: An enticing aroma of chocolate, malt, coffee, vanilla, apples, bourbon, and Oreos.
T: Tasted of a decent bit of bourbon (and its barrel), a lot of apple brandy (present throughout), some malt (not a big factor), a ton of chocolate, a good shot of Oreos, and a hint of vanilla. An extremely thick, sweet, and enjoyable flavor. The chocolate almost dominates everything, but the apples give it an interesting dynamic.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: A thoroughly enjoyable beer. Drinkable.
