L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a coal black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, tan-colored, long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: An extremely enticing aroma of malt, chocolate, nuts, coffee, a creamy quality, maple syrup, and coconuts.
T: Tasted of a good amount of hazelnuts (a surprising amount, really), lots of coffee (a big component), a bit of coconut, lots of malt (present throughout), and some chocolate as well. An exceptionally rich, complex, and powerful flavor. It's sweet, aggressive, and easy to like. Quite delicious.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: A wholly enjoyable stout. Drinkable.
