Will do 4.5’s across the board this time, as I got a sample sent to me that had been poured on draft. Will wait to adjust until I’ve had fresh. Held up so well, though. Really damn good.

L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, tan-colored, long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: A big and enticing aroma of bananas, chocolate, rum, malt, and peppers.
T: Tasted of a decent amount of the advertised rum (not overpowering, though), a little bit of chili peppers, lots of bananas (the major ingredient), a good shot of chocolate, and light malt notes (present throughout). A big, sweet, and bracing aroma. Its sweetness isn't over the top, balanced out by the rum. Incredibly tasty stuff.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: A rich, thick, and totally enjoyable stout. Drinkable.
