L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go, poured into a pint glass. Had a yellow-brown color and a cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Great lacing.
S: A decent, but not brilliant, aroma of hops, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, and malt.
T: Tasted of a bit of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a surprisingly high amount of malt (for a DIPA), a moderate amount of hops (not high for the style), and some tropical fruit (mango). Kind of an uneven flavor. It seems much maltier - and less hoppy / fruity - than your average DIPA. It seems a bit out of balance, but still has a charm to it.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth, soft finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer, but one with good qualities. Worth a look.
