L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a taster. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a thin, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A very good aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, coconut, and vanilla.
T: Tasted of a good amount of coconut (lingers around the edges), a tinge of vanilla, light hazelnut notes, lots of roasted malt (present throughout), some coffee (not overdone), and a hint of chocolate as well. A surprisingly subtle, well-rounded flavor. I doesn't overwhelm you with any of its ingredients, but still manages to please.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: In general, a well done stout. Drinkable.
