L: Poured from a crowler to a pint glass. Had an amber / brown color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Below average lacing.
S: A decent, but not spectacular, aroma of hops, malt, resin, caramel, and dark fruit.
T: Tasted of a good amount of sweet malt (present throughout), a tinge of caramel (could've used more), a whole lot of resiny hops (the dominant force here), and a bit of dark fruit (raisins, in particular). This is an uneven flavor in many respects. It's very hop-forward, but doesn't balance it out with more fruit and / caramel. Still, not a bad flavor.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer, but one with potential. Worth a try.
