L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a taster. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Good lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of coffee, chocolate, malt, nuts, and caramel.
T: Tasted of a bit of malt (present throughout, though subtle), a hint of caramel (kind of lingers around), a good shot of chocolate (quite sweet), a nutty quality (almonds, in particular), and some coffee as well (a major factor). Like its brother beer, Your Father and I are Disappointed in You, this one is well-balanced, focused, and pretty tasty.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly made beer. Worth a try.
