Pours ultra dark, and amazingly viscous for a 10% beer. Oh, boy. This beer is going to be sweet. Aroma is melted chocolate, coconut, coffee. Taste is sticky sweet, brown sugar, dark chocolate. Coconut shows up as it warms. Very sweet, but very tasty.

No date on the can, released Black Friday 2019.
Pours viscous and heavy, pitch black and with a nice beige head of foam that rises slowly and softly. It settles into a thin ring around the beer, with only a few residual patches of lace left in its wake.
The oreo cookies really shine on the nose. That familiar cookie profile of mildly bitter, predominantly sweet baker's chocolate is really prevalent, and it finishes by combining with the sweet toasted coconut to create an almost condensed milk sweetness that lingers on the tail.
The palate really impressed me more on this one the second time around. There's a great complex balance here of roasted malt, milk chocolate, and huge amounts of toasted coconut (which I didn't get quite as much of previously). There's no doubt it's pastry sweet, but with those underlying notes of malt & espresso that continue to intensify as the beer warms, you really get something much more convincingly enjoyable without being quite so... diabeetus.
Smooth, heavy, viscous. Goes down smooth as hell but also has a distinctly boozy warmth to it on the tail that reminds you that this is in fact a 10.5% ABV Imperial stout.

L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a taster. Had a jet black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A sweet and enticing aroma of chocolate, coconut, malt, cream, and Oreos.
T: Tasted of some Oreos (a subtle presence), a bit of malt (mostly in the finish), a lot of chocolate (quite sweet), a ton of coconut (a big ingredient), and a little cream to top it off. This is a soft, sweet, and engaging flavor. It's not overly sweet, but you definitely get a big dose of sugar in each sip. Tasty stuff.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a super-smooth finish Medium-bodied.
O: A thoroughly enjoyable beer. Drinkable.
