L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a taster. Had a deep, dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Below average lacing.
S: A very enticing aroma of chocolate, bourbon, malt, apples, coconut, and vanilla.
T: Tasted of a bit of malt (present throughout, though not a big factor), a tinge of vanilla, a ton of chocolate (a major ingredient), a bit of coconut (pretty sweet), some apple brandy notes, and a good shot of bourbon (and its accompanying barrel). A rich and complex flavor. It's not overly boozy, but definitely present. Delicious.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a super smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: An excellent, well made stout. Drinkable.
