L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a taster. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was an inch of creamy, tan-colored, very long-lasting head. Fantastic lacing.
S: A very alluring aroma of coffee, bourbon, honey, malt, nuts, coconut, and chocolate.
T: Tasted of a tinge of honey (kind of lingers around the edges), a decent amount of bourbon (and its accompanying barrel), some chocolate notes (always welcome), a lot of coffee (the main attraction here), a bit of malt (present throughout, though subtle), and hazelnuts. A rich, complex, and powerful flavor. delicious.
F: A so-so amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: A well made, easy to like beer. Drinkable.
