L: Poured from a crowler to a snifter. Had a bright yellow color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of hops, tropical fruit, citrus fruit, an earthy quality, and malt.
T: Tasted of a bit of the earthy quality (fleeting), a lot of citrus fruit (orange, grapefruit), light malt notes (mostly in the finish; not a huge factor), a good shot of hops (not overdone, though), and a nice amount of tropical fruit (passion fruit, in particular). This is a sweet, zesty, and well-balanced flavor. A good mix of bitter and sweet.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A highly enjoyable DIPA. Worth a try.
