L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a taster. Had a deep, dark, brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. Pretty good lacing.
S: An enticing aroma of coffee, bourbon, vanilla, coconut, malt, hazelnuts, and chocolate.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of coconut (a subtle sweetness), some mild vanilla notes, a ton of coffee (warm and roasty), a good shot of chocolate (always a good thing), a lot of booze (bourbon and some apple brandy), and a hint of hazelnuts. A rich, complex, and powerful flavor. Delicious.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: An excellent, well made stout. Drinkable.
