L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a taster. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Sparse lacing.
S: A big and enticing aroma of chocolate, coffee, bourbon, vanilla, marshmallows, and malt.
T: Tasted of decent amount of malt (present throughout; a subtle factor), some light coconut notes (sweet and fleeting), a ton of chocolate (fantastic), a good shot of bourbon (and its accompanying barrel), a hint of vanilla, a decent bit of marshmallow, and some coffee, too. A big, complex, and delicious flavor.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: A thoroughly enjoyable stout. Drinkable.
